Why Do I Need Christmas Light Installation Service?

The prospect of installing your own Christmas lights can be a rather daunting task when considering the amount of time needed in planning, gathering materials and equipment needed to complete your project.  In addition, many people forget the potential hazards like tall trees, steep roofs, and bad weather during the holiday season.

    Timely removal at the end of the Holiday season which normally starts around Jan 2nd.  No need to schedule this as we do this according to geographic locations to ensure a speedy and efficient removal process.

What happens if I have a problem with my lights after installation?

Our qualified professional installers are trained to take preventative measures to ensure you do not have any problems with your lights. In the event you do experience problems within 48-hours after installation, we will repair/replace the faulty equipment, no questions asked.  For maintenance support throughout the season, service technicians are available to provide phone and onsite support to get you up and running as soon as possible.

Note: If it is raining, snowing, or bad weather is in the forecast, we suggest turning off the lights and disconnecting all outlets.  Leaving lights on during bad weather can cause the lights to short out and potentially cause irreparable damage.  We suggest taking the necessary precautions to save yourself time, money, and avoid the needless stress.

Are there any electrical requirements?

Most of the time no, but for larger projects, extra power may be needed. If you are wanting a large area of lights installed, we suggest LED lights as this will greatly reduce your electrical needs allowing us to safely install more lights. We cannot be held responsible for inadequate, faulty, or overloaded electrical sources at your location. You may need to hire an Electrician to provide an electrical connection from inside the house and check for minimal requirements.

How much does your service cost?

The cost of our Christmas light installation depends on the size of your home, difficulty of your lighting needs, materials (Incandescent or LEDs), the length of time needed to complete the job, and electrical requirements. In addition to your home, we will be happy to provide light installation on trees, shrubs, walkways, and other areas.  We will provide a detailed estimate work up sheet so you will know before-hand.

When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?

Due to our short season and high-demand, the sooner you schedule your estimate appointment and installation, the better chance you’ll have of getting your lights installed on the date you choose.  Installation starts in early October and runs through mid-December.  Removal starts as early as Jan 2nd, running through Jan 15th.  We do offer early season installation discounts.

How do I turn off my lights if I don't want to run them all day?

The best option is to use an outdoor timer and is highly recommended which can help in cutting down energy costs.  Using an outdoor timer offers a convenient way to automatically turn on / turn off the lights throughout out the day.

What if I have my own lights?

We can only install our lights as we use commercial quality lighting products.  We have found through experience that store-bought lights increase our call backs and are inferior compared to the commercial quality lights we use.
